Orienteering with Leon and Irene

Kia Ora bloggers today I'm going to tell about Orienteering .

So when Leon came he told us to get into groups of two so we did that. Then we had to clip cards and go to the hall the person that was holding the clip card has to go first. I was the one holding the clip card in my group so I had to run first. Then I once I was finish I came back and gave it to my buddy. I really enjoyed doing orienteering because it is a lot of fun and it was a great excise in the morning.

Language feature

This week I have been using a range of language features to help make my writing more descriptive. Some language features we have been talking about are similes, metaphors, personification and onomatopoeia.

This is one of my favourite sentences from my writing this week

Swissssshhh as the ball was running across the field, I could hardly breath I was nervous.

The Epic Sock Puppet Fail

Yesterday hay park school had lots of fun at the crazy world of science. The person that was doing it was a man and his name was Richard. After the crazy world of science we all went back to class to talk about what we learnt. The day after we had to record our self's on stop motion animation,I movie or sock puppet and slide shows. we picked  to use sock puppet because it looked fun. So when we started to record we had so much mistakes. Then we kept on trying and trying . Then we got to the end but then we forgot to press save so instead we pressed pause then it wasn't saved. Now I don't want to use sock puppet again.

Skateboarding

Today my class went to the hall to do skateboarding. Our coaches where Aiden and Martin. Our class has lots of fun because we had to 2 sessions on  the first session we had to tic tac past the cones. The cones were in a big L shape. It was challenging because  at the top of the L people kept on stopping and because people say that they can't do it. 

2 Session
We had lots and lots of fun on the last session because they got out the ramp. we all had a turn some of us did it right and some of us did it wrong. Most of the girls didn't want to go on the ramp but I wasn't. When we finish we all where hot and we were sweating. We wanted to keep on going but we couldn't cause the other class was coming.

Today my classroom where planting plants. The plants we had were Sweet pea, Sun flower and Purple tansy.
